Challenge

The classic 90's Nickelodeon show The Wild Thornberry's 

was arriving on Netflix. They wanted a catchy OOH series 

to make that arrival known.

Idea

The show was about a young girl who could communicate with animals.

We brought this power to life by modifying typical OOH's with a range of animal feeders & sensors. When a sensor was activated, passers-by got a quick glimpse into whimsical thoughts of the animal that triggered it.

 

We called them "billbirds."

Active billbirds sees what whimsical thoughts a thirsty dog, hungry squirrels or mischievous pigeons may be having at any given time.

Inactive billbirds sees the Thornberry gang interacting with commuters as they pass by.
